How does this make you feel about the community? Do you feel safe? Do you think that you will get looked at differently now in the community because the two suspects are your age?

well this makes me really mad because i know both of the boys. Knowing that they did this is really irritating and knowing that people your age is so stupid to do stuff like this and they live in your neighborhood is really scary. i am glad the cops got them, and i feel a little safer but it still is scary. No it dont really because Tyrone is a town that is kind of known for drugs and stealing things.
ReplyDeleteWell Tyrone doesn't have a good image as it appears and this is just making it worse. Aso just think about the people who it affected, and all of the damage it caused them. The suspects just picked random people to pretty much attack, so it could have been any body. I really dont feel safe to an extent, i make sure i am with people and keep doors locked all the time now. My last thought is no i dont think that all teenagers around 15 & 16 will be looked at as bad kids, i just think the one with any criminal backround what so ever will be looked at as crimes of the future.
ReplyDeleteI believe that our community looks horrible and just a terrible place to be in. I feel completly unsafe living here knowing that anything could happen at anytime. I do not like to go places by myself fearing that someone may do something to me. Or just simply something something could happen. I do not like being in this town at all anymore.
ReplyDeleteI aslo feel that people may look at us teenagers a different way just because of all of the things that have been going on. I believe that if we go into a store with a group of friends, the stroe manager may keep an eye on us because they may think we will rob them. Or just the people on the street may think we are dangourous all around. Its a sad thing that people could stoop to such a low level.
Im greatfull that the people were caught. I still feel safe bc they didnt shoot anyone and i dont think they had any intentions of killing anyone. But this experience has made me more cautious with locking up importuant items and makein sure the car is locked. No i dont think I myself will be looked at differently bc these kids no offense had bad reps to began with.
ReplyDeletei think it is stupid because they are ruining there whole life in just a couple days! also this is what the third time snappys has beeen robbed and they still havnt gotten any security cameras that is just retarded. i never feel safe in this town with all the druggys and roberys going on. i do think alot of people will look at teenagers differuntly after this because there is nothing to do in this town for teans so they all just go around doing stuff there not suppose to do and they end up getting into truble.
ReplyDeleteIt's actually pretty hard to feel safe in this town.We have so many creepy people and freaks walking around.Also these kids that went around burning cars and robbing stores are just ruining there life.I dont know anyone that wants to stay in jail for there life time.They could of had a hard life or things are just not working out for them but that does not give them the right to go around and ruin stuff that does not belong to them. I also think that people are just gonna do stuff just to fit in with there friends its the whole pessure and trying to be cool.
ReplyDeleteI don't know who they were and I doubt that every teenage in the area will be looked at differently. Also I never really did feel safe in Tyrone for I live at the res. and already I have been chased by drug dealers. With that in mind I am not surprised this happened and that two of the places sold beer and cigarettes. What i can't believe have used a helicopter and bloodhounds to find these guys. Wasn't the bloodhounds good enough. Why did they go from four guys to three like was the four guys done or that other things to do or did he get caught for something else. another thing that I am woundering is which town did they come from for so far they havre hit Tyrone, Bald Eagle, and Tipton. i really hope though that they catch the other people that are involed in it. otherwise there will be more stores robbed and in this economy that is very bad for the stores.
ReplyDeleteThis doesn't make me feel any different about the community. You are going to have dirt bags in every community. A lot of the time it isn't the kids' fault, it's the parents fault. The homes that kids have to grow up in is ridiculous. Parents need to provide the kids with a healthy home. Most kids that grow up in a healthy home don't end up bad and screw up their future. I feel as safe as I have always felt, being that I don't live in tyrone; and I doubt that even if I lived in tyrone it would change the way I feel about my saftey. I don't think that I will get looked at just because of two random kids in a whole city steels something. That incident really has nothing to do with me.
ReplyDeleteIt makes Tyrone have a bad name, because the kids were breaking in stores, and setting cars on fire. Yes I still feel safe after this happened. Yes people will look at us differently because they will try to judge us just because we were like the same age as the kids who did it.
