Ten Simple Google Search Tips



Almost everyonoe uses google for at least some of our internet searches.  However, many people are not aware of some simple ways to make using the popular search engine easier and more productive. 

Read this article and answer one or more of the following questions in the comment section:

  1. I knew about all of them but I do not use them all I just normally just go to www.google.com and then just type what I want in the search box I really don’t do the tips. Not really because I already knew the quick tips.

  2. I use some of these things to help me on google. I usually use it to help me with my spelling. I use specific terms with the - operator. I also search within numerical ranges using the.. operator. There are some ideas that look interesting like being able to use the calculator of google, and being able to find out what time it is throughout the world.

  3. I know most of the tips that they are teaching us. Mainly because i took Net Home page Design with Mr. Grady and learning how to search better and more specific was one of our main topics that we learned about. For example i already knew about using quotes and the OR trick. Something I didnt know was if your look for something in a specific year like 1950 as they said type in Cars made in 1950....1960. This stuff does make your search alot more accurate.

  4. No i did not learn anything new because i use google for every thing. Google is such a huge part of my everyday life. I think pretty much everybody uses google.

  6. Yes i used a lot of these tips before. i used the spelling tip the specific search tip and the area code. I will try the calculator tip later it's seems pretty useful.
