Times Square Bomb Scare (cont.)
The New York Times reported on heightened anxiety near Times Square in the wake of a manhole fire two days after – and mere blocks from the site of – an attempted car bombing.
Do you ever worry about terrorist attacks? Or do you generally feel safe?
Terrorist attacks are the last thing on my mind. Admit it, to people my age getting a prom dress and making sure you date matches are more important than NYC being blown to bits. Im not sure why, but, really I dont think teenagers care about most anything but themselves.

I never real think about terrosist attacks. But when i do Yea i am worried about it. There is nuclear weapons out there everywhere i mean look at the guy who almost blew up time square. He was caught like thirty sec. before the plane took off. THIRTY SECONDS!!! Those people are out there they dont care if they die. Theyre constauntly skeeming to come up with ways to attack us. Are security was boosted up and there is still people getting through. So yes i do.
ReplyDeletei do sometimes worry about us being bombed but if i spend my whole life waiting for the worst then what do i have to live for? so no it is not my top worry of the day but i do think it is a scary topic to think about other people having things that could blow us up.
ReplyDeleteI personally never really think about terrorists or any of that sort. I usually feel like I am almost always in safe environments. I do realize that even in buildings with teachers and staff anything could still happen, but I never really spend my energy looking for bad things to happen in life. I try to be more of a positive thinker.
ReplyDeleteI am always afraid of terrorist attacks. The people in this world had literally gone crazy. There have been so many attempts lately who knows when this place will actualy blow up some day because of a terrorist attack. I don't feel safe at all here. You have people making bombs and driving through gates. It's just crazy here. We need more control and we need more saftey or eles another terrorist attack will happen.
