12/04/09 - Cartoon of the Week

What issue(s) and events does this cartoon deal with? What is the cartoon’s message? Does the cartoon clearly convey the desired message? Why or why not?

  1. This cartoon is adressing how two people slipped past security on two different occasions. its saying that it really is not good to sneak into big events just so you can meet the president. to me it clearly shows how they do not like it when people sneak past security at a presidential event.

This issue deals with the couple that went uninvited into the white house and caused a big controversy. They believed that they had a right to be in there when know one knows how they were able to get in. They wanted to do this so they got a reality show when lately everyone has been doing crazy things to get one. Everyone is calling them the party crashers. The message is that they dont know everything about whats going on and they wern't supposed to be there. I think this cartoon reveals a good message because this couple doesn't think they did anything wrong.

  3. i think this is funny, those dumb people just did it to become more famous.I think the white house staff should have been more strict about the people going into the party. but those people were nosey so they problity could get into anything.

  4. This cartoon deals with Bin Laden's cave and what they can do with the cave. Also to see if they can use it in any way possible. To see if the party crashers have anything to say about Bin Laden's cave anymore. Not in so many words. Also it dosen't exsplane much either.Well it dose not have so much to say and there is no responce from the party crashers.

  5. Umm.... to me the cartoon is portreying the trouble were having finding Bin Laden. The Message is the government is trying all they can tpo find Bin Laden. The maessage doen't clearly portray the message because wedding crashers don't relate to the subject very well.
