Read three or more of the articles that can be found by following the links below. All of these links summarize the changes that will take place as a result of the new law:

New York Times special Health Care section links to numerous articles about how the law will impact the country.

  1. This story infurates me! I love how some of the students knew about her getting bullied and didnt do anything about it. I dont care how much schools say they help out with bulling or whatever, I see it on a daily basis. Our school rarely does anything when it comes to bullying. And its clear to me that this school didnt do anything to help her out as well. I hope the school gets charged with everthing possible.

  2. three things that i have learned from these articals is that minors can stay with thier parents health insureance untill they are 26, your taxes and coverage is influenced by you income and family size, and that in some states, women are being charged more for the same coverage that some men have, and the bill is stoping that.
one thing that i still question is how the government is going to bealbe to fund a nationaly ran heathcare system.

  4. The things that I have learned about the new law is that if you are an employer than things would stay the same because the overwhelming majority of insured people get their coverage through their employer. Also, more than $500 billion will be cut from the medicare over the next decade to help fund the health care plan. Lastly, your health coverage and taxes are now based on your income, family size, and your current insurance status.

One question that I still have is, what would you do if you were a single parent with children and you could not afford life insurance, what would you do then?
